As everyone knows by now there has been a game on the NG front page called The Torture Game 2 for quite some time now. Now granted this is an extremely disturbing game, but it is also very popular and has received high scores. Of course with anything nowadays there's bound to be some attention from the media. As expected, Fox News was the first to take this game way too seriously.

It never ceases to amaze me at how stupid these people sound talking on the old idiot box. They call in "experts" to reflect upon one flash game, talking about it psychological effects on children (*facepalm*). If anything, the Fulpmeister and his NG staff are genius for putting the game on the front page. This is just the kind of stuff that actually gets NG free publicity, just as it's done for them in the past. Hilarious. Pitiful. So many words, so little time.

Edit: I mean, my God, I just remembered: Fox has done the same thing with the game Mass Effect. People who hadn't even seen or played the game. Look it up on YouTube, you'll see what I mean. Ridiculous. And in the aftermath of the conversation, EA finally grew some balls - good for them!
